Surveyor

This is a promising opportunity for a surveyor to join a new survey team within QTS based in England. For this role an experienced surveyor is preferred who holds both reliable surveying and site setting out skills.

Working at a multi disciplined company like QTS moulds surveyors to be multi skilled and will be a massive benefit to their own development and career prospects for the future.

Following continued growth and expansion, and our success in recent framework contracts in the North-West and Central and Eastern Regions, we are now looking to enhance our survey teams in these areas.

QTS is a company that has successfully invested heavily in our Survey Department in Scotland over the past few years and are now seeking to replicate this elsewhere. It is with this reliable, well-established team, containing various senior level surveyors each with over 20 years’ experience within the industry, that we would assist and support the growth and development of a survey division south of the border

Skills Required:

• A good knowledge of processing software is expected. AutoCAD & LSS is preferred.
• Candidates will be expected at times to work under instruction/take advice from senior members of the team.
• Possess both surveyor and setting out engineer skills at an efficient/capable level.
• Will be able to undertake most survey tasks with minimal training.
• Experience in monitoring practices and procedures is desirable.
• Be interested in the continued growth and development of their own skillset.
• Railway experience is desirable, but not a necessity.
• Be up for the challenge of working on the railway. – Night shift and day shift working will be required. Covering weekend works is also to be expected.
• Willing to stay away from home at times also to be expected.
• Full UK driver’s license.
