
Company Accountant
Rench Farm, Drumclog
Role and responsibilities:
Duties will include but not be limited to;
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
- Assist in the creation of management reports for the company Financial Controller
- Analysing the monthly financial results
- Bank and cash flow analysis
- Control account reconciliations
- PAYE/CIS and VAT submissions
- Auditing internal accounting processes and procedures
- Key role in statutory year end audit
- Reporting to the Financial Controller in all areas of finance
Skills required:
- Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with proven relevant experience
- Experience in the management of an accounts team
- Strong accounting systems and management reporting skills that can be evidenced through your experience
- Flexible approach and able to multi-task and effectively prioritise your workload and have an enthusiasm for new projects alongside business-as-usual activity
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
- The ability to communicate with all non-finance stakeholders at all levels is essential
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Role relevant experience in construction industry (desirable)
- Knowledge of ERP software package Microsoft Navision 365 BC (desirable)
