Railway contractor QTS Group has made the difference in getting community football club the Holytown Colts to the Mare Nostrum tournament in Salou.
The sponsorship from QTS allowed the under 14s team to attend the tournament held between the 6th-9th of April 2023. The team trained hard and were able to make it into the last 16 knockout stage, unfortunately losing in penalties after a comeback from 2-1 down.
”It was great couple of days at the show, we got to speak with young people from all over Scotland and were able to make them aware of some of the fantastic opportunities available not just within QTS but the wider rail industry.
Attending alongside our partner contractors made the experience all the more worthwhile as we were able to give an even more rounded view of what the rail industry has to offer.
