QTS Group marks the 10th anniversary of its Youth Athlete Programme, which continues to support and inspire emerging sports stars across the UK.

Athletes recently gathered in Glasgow to reflect on their journeys and achievements. Over the years, QTS has helped young athletes overcome financial barriers and reach their full potential.

Luis Davin, 19, from Liverpool, has played for the Steven Gerrard Academy at U19, U21, and U23 levels, as well as Vauxhall Motors FC Reserves in the West Cheshire Division One. Currently playing for Norwich 1874, Luis is going strong.

Ben Stitt, 18, from Kilmarnock, became the youngest ever Black Belt in his kickboxing association at age 12 and has since won international competitions.

Gillian McGaw, 25, from Kilmarnock, is one of Scotland’s few female motorbike racers, competing at national and international levels with QTS’s support for training and equipment.

Rory McKinna, 22, from Stewarton, started parasailing at age 14 and has become a highly accomplished competitor with several championship titles.

Ethan Cunningham, 20, from Glasgow, became British Tumble Champion at 14 and is now the youngest member of the Senior Development GBR squad for double mini trampoline.

Aaron Sarwar, 16, from Kilmarnock, has already represented his country at an international level, winning gold in the Scottish Championship, William Wallace Box Club, and the King of the Ring competition in Sweden. Currently Aaron boxes with Boxing Scotland.

It was great to meet up with the other athletes. I’m really thankful to QTS for the support—it helps so much when trying to kick-start your career. When companies like QTS recognise our hard work, it means a lot.
